I started learning how to code because a friend encouraged me to give it a try. At the time, I was in school to become a dental hygienist. But, truth be told, I was second guessing my choice. Thanks to that nudge from my friend, I found a different skill that sparked my passion.

     After six months of soloing Udemy classes, I discovered that I particularly enjoyed web development, and became interested in the e-commerce sector. Then, I started the Freemote program because I was seriously craving community and mentorship to help me push my work to the next level. Freemote has given me a modern, thorough foundation that I can be confident in.

    Enjoying the continuous learning lifestyle, I am currently working through a course in React. In my other free time, I am reading "Making Websites Win." In my other, other free time, I am pet mom to two beautiful black cats, Kitty and Puffin. As well as to two beautiful doggos, Mimi and Stanley.
